The reference practice is the result of extensive analysis on two fronts: on one hand, the development of a broad program for personnel involved in the distribution chain; on the other, the integration and support of existing programs by broadening the roles and professional figures involved in the pharma logistics process. Objective: to outline a shared reference model of infrastructure and service requirements for the proper management of medicine distribution.
The next important step PharmacomItalia is working on is drafting a sector-specific voluntary quality standard to define a model of National Logistics Compliance Certification.
