PharmacomItalia proposes a replicable model aimed at creating shared value across the entire supply chain.
The key word is Internationalization, structured along four strategic topics:
- Standards: Define common and harmonized standards for skills, quality, and safety in pharmaceutical transport, based on three interconnected pillars: air, sea, and land.
- Protocols & Procedures: Develop specific protocols for each transport mode, inspired from well established tools and best practices in other sectors (e.g., air freight), with a particular focus on transport by sea.
- Intermodality: Integrate different transport modes through codified, shared, and standardized technical criteria, with the goal of increasing efficiency and global logistical capabilities.
- Innovation: Foster an advanced logistics ecosystem through digital technologies, IoT, drones, and automation, in order to create a smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable supply chain.
